    Credit packs

Credits cost the same everywhere: about ₹1 or 1¢ each, and the bigger the pack, the more Credits you get for your money. Prices include tax. Outside India and the US, checkout converts the dollar price to your currency. Checkout and invoices are handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record.

    Jobs from other countries

Fees follow where the job is posted from and where you are. In your own market you pay the job's base fees. Applying to a job from a country where editing pays more costs more, up to 3×; applying to one where it pays less costs less, down to ⅓. For a job whose base fees are 20 Credits to apply and 300 to hire:

The fine print, in plain words

    Why charge editors at all?
A small fee keeps applications serious, so creators actually read them and reply. Every job caps at 8–15 applicants.
What if I pay and get ghosted?
If a job closes before the creator decides on your application, the apply fee comes back automatically. If a creator removes you within 7 days of hiring you, the hire fee comes back too. If they hire you and then never respond, report it within 3–10 days; if upheld, the hire fee is refunded and the creator gets a strike.
Why does a job in another country cost more (or fewer) Credits?
A job from a country where editing pays more is worth more to you, so it costs more to apply and to be hired: up to 3× the base fee. A job from a country where it pays less costs less, down to ⅓. Your country for fees is your sign-up country, or the country of a card or billing address you've paid with if that's lower. Every job shows your exact fees before you apply.
Can free Credits pay the hire fee?
Signup bonus Credits can, but applying spends them first, and your first hire must include at least one purchased Credit. Apply-only Credits from check-ins and referrals can't — they're for applications.
    Are Credits refundable?
No. Credit purchases are final, whether you've spent the Credits or not, so start with a small pack if you're unsure. The fee refunds above come back as Credits. If a purchase didn't add Credits to your wallet, contact us and we'll put it right.
